Engagement d’accessibilité d’Euro Disney
Euro Disney undertakes to make its online booking process accessible in compliance with European Directive no. 2019/882 of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility of certain products and services.
To achieve this, Disneyland Paris digital content (website and mobile app) is designed taking account of current accessibility norms: international WCAG 2.2 level AA recommendations and European accessibility norm EN 301 549 (Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services).
These norms are based on four principles:
- Principle 1: Perceivable
- Provide text alternatives for any non-text content so that it can be changed into other forms users need: large print, Braille, vocal synthesis, etc.
- Provide alternatives for time-based media.
- Create content that can be presented in different ways (for example simpler layout) without losing information or structure.
- Make it easier for users to see and hear content including separating foreground from background.
- Principle 2: Operable
- Make all functionality available from a keyboard.
- Provide users enough time to read and use content.
- Do not design content in a way that is known to cause seizures or physical reactions.
- Provide ways to help users navigate, find content, and determine where they are.
- Principle 3: Understandable
- Make text content readable and understandable.
- Make web pages appear and operate in predictable ways.
- Help users avoid and correct mistakes.
- Principle 4: Robust
- Maximise compatibility with current and future user agents, including assistive technologies.
Accessibility compliance is tested regularly and manually by an external auditor to enable any non-compliances to be corrected. The last audits established the precise level of accessibility of each of the main site paths https://www.disneylandparis.com .
Bypass solutions are indicated below for points where accessibility is currently being improved.

Accessibility in Disneyland Paris Parks
The « Accessibility at Disneyland Paris » page can be viewed to find out more about accessibility in the Disney Parks (available services and facilities, specially priced access passes and tickets, accessibility in Disney Hotels). This page can be accessed using a keyboard or screen reader, except for the following PDF documents which are not yet accessible:
- Accessibility Plans
- Accessibility Guide
- Blue Booklet
- Disneyland Paris image bank
- List of 30 LTI (Long Term Illnesses)
Level of accessibility by navigation mode (keyboard, screen reader, zoom, etc.)
Customising the display
Generally, the website is designed to make text and on-screen elements easier to see and read for people who are visually impaired and cannot distinguish colours or low contrasts, who navigate using the zoom function to greatly enlarge content and who redefine text spacing or need to change text fonts.
Keyboard navigation only (without screen reader)
The main website paths can be navigated using a keyboard, except for:
- two points on the « Hotel + Ticket package » sales platform for which the following bypass solutions can be used:
- There is a keyboard trap on the « Select your dates » form found on the home page and on the « Hotel Stays + Disney Park Tickets » page. For direct access to the accessible booking tunnel, go to the Hotel + Tickets link found in the website header.
- The list of restaurants according to Meal Plan selected cannot be accessed using the keyboard. To access this information, go to the « Disneyland Paris Meal Plans » page.
- Three points on the customer account platform for which no bypass solution is currently possible:
- In responsive mode (on mobile or magnified view), the menu of this platform cannot be accessed using the keyboard.
- Keyboard focus is not visible.
- On the «Your Disney Picks» page, the «Who’s coming to visit?» choice cannot be accessed using the keyboard.
Navigation via a vocal screen reader or Braille
The site still has compliance issues which make navigation difficult for people who use a Braille or vocal screen reader (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack):
- Buttons used to perform essential actions (adding/removing participants, deleting an option, continuing to the next step, etc.) are not correctly read or represented.
- Calendars are integrated in such a way that makes selecting dates difficult.
- The fields enabling the user to choose options and insurance are not linked to their label.
- Data entry errors in the forms are not read out loud.
- Some important information icons have no alt text, making it difficult to understand the information in each meal plan.
- On the ticket sales platform, the focus shifts out of the modal window when selecting the number of days.
We are currently working on corrections to improve screen reader navigation.
If you encounter accessibility problems, please ask one of our experts for help. You can contact them at the heart of the Disney Parks at 01 605 83 83.
Other navigation modes
The website is accessible to people unable to access audio content, and users can control all website animations.
